This Saturday, October 6th, is “Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day.” So, go find yourself a kid and go riding, or if you don’t have one handy, BE a kid!

Personally, I enjoy being 12 years old again, every time I get on my bike.

Next year on October 4th, 2008, Passion Trail Bikes will be hosting a TAKMTBD event at Waterdog, when we will ride around the lake on a kid-friendly trail.

Good places to take a kid:

Arastradero Preserve, Palo Alto
Shoreline Park, Mountain View (Bay Trail access)
Wilder Ranch State Park, Santa Cruz
DeLaveaga Park, Santa Cruz.
