2007 S-Works

Some of the first 2007 Specialized S-Works bikes have arrived, and we are getting the built up. We are mostly getting carbon framed versions for our stock, and these things sure are light. The hardtail pictured to the left (size large, without pedals) is bit over 21.5 lbs.

I just sold a titanium framed bike that I thought was light, and it was at least a half pound heavier! And that bike didn’t have disk brakes, and only a bit more than half the travel in the fork.

Some key points on this bike (and how they get it to be so light):

S-Works FACT M10 carbon hardtail frame, Az1 construction, Mono-stay seat stays

Fox F90X, 90mm travel, air spring, inertia valve w/ threshold and rebound adjust, alloy steerer

Shimano New M970-series XTR drive train and brakes

New Mavic <a http://www.mavic.com/ewb_pages/p/produit_roue_cross_slr_disc.php?gamme=vtt&annee=2007">CrossMax SL-R Disc wheelset

Come on down to check out this bike, and the other 2007 S-works.
