Epic Contracting is still working on the floors at Passion, so I am storing my bench and fixtures in the kitchen an empty warehouse next door until they are done. I hate the idea of having to move all this stuff twice, but the floors will be worth the wait.

They have shot blast the concrete floor, patched and sealed most of the cracks in it, and then ground it flat. The grinder worked the sealed surface deep enough to expose the underlying aggregate, which they will seal with a clear epoxy. The first epoxy coating went on today, the and the second and final will be applied on Friday. I should be able to start moving things onto the floor on Saturday. The end result will look like a combination of forest floor and gravel path, with glossy finish. Durability and ease of cleanup should be excellent.
