1. Tour of Mid Peninsula Holiday Lights Ride from Passion Trail Bikes

As a way of ushering in the longer days that follow the solstice, we are planning, along with Tom’s route finding expertise, to do an urban Wednesday Evening Ride from the shop Wednesday December 23rd. We will ride through a few different neighborhoods on our cruisers, mountain bikes, road bikes, cross bikes, and tandems looking for houses lit up in holiday splendor. In particular one target is to go down Eucalyptus Ave near Brittan. That little neighborhood goes crazy with the holiday lights!

Depending on turnout, we may break into different groups, or may not. Either way, there will be frequent regroups, a social pace for all, and some of the frisky riders may be totin’ a little nog in their bags to even the pace out a bit. Tom’s plan is to bring a thermally protected beverage container, and Patty’s plan is to taste a bit o’ peppermint.

After the ride, we will come back to the shop for some holiday cheer, spiced cider, and tales of wondrous decorations!

Meet at the shop at 7pm, ready to roll 7:30pm. Lights on your bike or person are required!
