Friday night is the night for little kids. This year Saturday night is for big kids! Plan on joining us for a super fun candlelit evening of socializing and scaring each other with our alter-egos. Party starts at 6:30pm and runs until the candles burn down. Healthy finger food to dilute all that candy you ate, intoxicating conversation, boiling beverages, what more could you want? Oh, costumes. Wear one! Bring leftover bags of funsize candy to donate to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Boy did we have fun sending people out to test ride bikes! We hope you got a chance to pedal one of these sweet new bikes, and suspect you did, with over 90 rides going out from the shop on Sunday.

Commute.org, the folks who bring us Bike to Work Day, have another challenge going. This time they are trying to get people who live, work, or travel through San Mateo to take transit at least once during the week of October 27. And those who commit to doing this can enter a raffle for a bunch of free goodies, including iPods, hotel stays, etc.
