The Lease Is Signed

After watching it ricochet back and forth between mine and my landlord’s attorneys, we finally called it done and put it on the table to sign. I’ll get the keys the day before I head off to Interbike, and start moving my stuff in on October 1. The walls and ceiling are being painted now, and I hope to have the floors done by the time I get back from Vegas.
I had given my boss at Trail Head my resignation notice twice already, and rescinded it once, then got all vague about the actual quit date. Now, I was planning to work the last two days, use up some vacation time at Interbike, and then spend the rest of my vacation building Passion. My last actual work day in his shop will be this Friday, September 23.
